Chimulirenji back to business donates Covid-19 fighting equipment in Ntcheu

Minister of Disaster Management and Public Events Everton Chimulirenji has donated various items in Ntcheu aimed at improving hygiene as Malawi is grappling with Covid-19.
Some of the materials which he distributed included Soap , water tapped buckets and sanitisers.
The said materials were donated by Beautify Malawi (Beam).
Speaking to journalists during the exercise, Chimulirenji thanked First Lady Getrude Mutharika for the donation.
“As you are aware hygiene is the only key to deal with this disease that is why we came here to distribute some materials since some can require additional resources to be bought,” He said.
He urged people to adhere to hygiene standards.
“Remember to wash your hands all the time and do not greet your friends with handshakes and do not touch your nose , mouth and eyes with your dirty hands.” He said.
During all his stop overs Chimulirenji advised people to observe social distance as well as avoiding large gathering especially of people more than one hundred.
Chimulirenji was accompanied by Paramount Chief Inkosi Gomani V, Senior Chief Inkosi Kwataine and Director of Operations in the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Hon Mwai Kamuyambeni.
Beam has been distributing water tapped buckets and cartons of soap as a measure of combating further spread of Covid19 in Ntcheu district in various districts in Malawi.
Some of the places donated include New Central depot at Ntcheu Boma, Madzanje Central, Bilira in Bwanje South, Pengapenga in Bwanje South, Bwanje Trading centre in Bwanje North, Kasinje in Bwanje North.
Other places were Manjawira, Mphepozinai, Masamba
Mulangeni and Mlangeni Trading Centre.
