This is the second arrest after he walked to freedom in a midnight drama by the Zomba Magistrate Benedicto Chitsakamile, who cancelled his warrant of arrest issued by another Magistrate in Blantyre.

Making her ruling in Blantyre on Tuesday, High Court Judge, Dorothy Nyakaunda Kamanga ordered the ACB to execute Dr. Mpinganjira’s warrant of arrest saying the graft busting body is at liberty to re -arrest him.

Judge Nyakaunda Kamanga said there were several irregularities in the case filed in Zomba citing, one of it being no certificate of agency..

However, in a dramatic turn of events, reports are allegedly indicating that Dr. Mpinganjira did not make himself physically present at the Zomba Magistrate court but phone in made him to walk to freedom at midnight.
