Teachers have been pressing Government demanding to be given given risk allowances amid Covi-19.
Chakwera said Leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa has no moral grounds to speak anything on Teachers allowances.
“The Leader of Opposition Honorable Kondwani Nankhumwa was a Minister just few months ago. the question is why did they not include it in the budget,” Said Chakwera.
On Parliamentarians House project , Chakwera said Tonse Alliance Government will build houses for every Member Parliament and offices.
DPP should come out ashamed over the statement that No leader will come from Central or Northern region.
On civil servants allowances , Dr chakwera accused Nankhumwa of deliberately misleading people on statement on civil servants allowances.
Chakwera said the truth of the matter is that he has never stopped allowances for civil servants.
On expatriates , Chakwera said he is not against the foreigners but he is against expatriates absorbing Malawian jobs.
But Nankhumwa while standing to comment on President’s statement said he stands by his statement.
He reminded President Chakwera to write the letter of appointment to the DPP Commissioners.
