MCP buys brand new party vehicles with clean money
By Malawi Exclusive
Malawi Congress Party has bought fleet of vehicles as one way of strengthening the party at both national and grassroots level.
In an exclusive interview with this publication, MCP Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka confirmed about the vehicles.
Mkaka said the party has bought the vehicles using the proceeds from the sale of its former District Office premises in Lilongwe which now houses Games complex and other structures but MCP won to have the money withdrawn.
“The vehicles will help us to run affairs of the party and we are happy since for long time we have been discussing on how we can have our money back.” He said.
There has been fierce court battle between MCP and Press Properties under the case number 129 of 2012.
